About Me.

I am a Portuguese woman who loves the sea, traveling, dogs, and deep conversations. I was born in 1997 in Lisbon, where I spent my entire childhood. One of my fondest memories as a child is the trips to the Algarve with my family. This is probably why the beach is one of my favorite places year-round.

When I was 13 years old, I moved to Angola, where I spent my teenage years. The adaptation period was quite difficult, especially because of the cultural differences. Despite this, I am grateful that my parents decided to move because it has undoubtedly shaped who I am today. I learned and experienced many things that I would never have encountered had I always lived in a developed country. I returned to Lisbon for university, where I studied Engineering—a decision I will never regret. Those three years were tough, but they were worth it.

Yoga entered my life at the right time.

Yoga was my escape for five years while working in a corporate job, helping me cope with the toxic and fast-paced environment.

For me, yoga is self-development. It's a way of living and an endless journey to find your essence. It's never about how you look in a yoga pose; it's about what you learn about yourself along the way. You can't be "good" at yoga just as you can't be "good" at being yourself.

I like to say that if you have a life, you need therapy and yoga—life can be tough. Both combined are life-changing (thank me later).

Transitioning from a developer to a product designer, I was never satisfied and always felt like I didn't belong, no matter how much my ego told me that this was the path to "success."

The universe gave me the best opportunity, and I made the most of it. After finding out that my team was going to be redundant, I decided to finally pursue the dream I had been delaying. Now, I’m exploring things I never had time for while working my 9-5 job.

Today, I am proudly a 200-hour Yoga Teacher certified by Yoga Alliance. I completed my Yoga Teacher Training in the UK, spending an intensive month away from everyone. Completely out of my comfort zone, I allowed myself to grow, started eating apples again, and collected so much advice that I’ll carry with me forever.

I am still in the process of fully accepting that success is where you feel happy and fulfilled, not where society expects you to be. I am glad I took this step towards what makes me happy, and I hope to inspire you to follow your dreams as well.

One of my missions as a yoga teacher is to help people reconnect with themselves and their intuition. If you are not connected to your truth, you will never be able to live a life aligned with your values, dreams, and aspirations.
